Jahanguir is a musician with a French mother and a Pakistani father who comes from a family of popular singers and musicians in Pakistan.

Early in his career he was a singer / percussionist in French groups, he later turned to Indo / Pakistani rhythms and singing in 2000 when he began learning Tablas with Pandit Shankar Ghosh, multiple meetings with tabla masters, among others the Pakistani Ustad Jhari Khan, and Ustad Zakir Hussain (Master Class), as well as with singers, Indrani Chatterjee, Parveen Khan,
Amjad Ali.

As a multi racial performer it is essential for him to mix - with his own texts and those of the greatest poets from Paul Verlaine to Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai- French language and various Pakistani languages (Urdu, Sindhi & Punjabi).
